how can I access A wireless network from notebook?
First you have to have a wireless networking card. Then, only if you have XP or Mac OS X, you can detect a network and connect. I only know about XP but if you have it, a little speech bubble will appear over the icons on the right side of your taskbar (the thing with the start button on it) that says it has detected a network. Then, click on it and if it's a public network it'll just open up but if it's password protected, you'll need to enter the login and password.
I'd assume it's the same for OS X but you'd have to check.
