The sound on my laptop/computer isn't working?
I have an IBM X60 laptop so there's a docking station that comes with it that allows me to hook up with a monitor. Recently, I got my laptop reformatted because of some bizarre virus and everything was working fine for a day or so. However, today, after I placed my laptop on my docking station, my sound didn't work anymore. I tried to see if there was a speaker issue or something and even tried to use my headphones to see if the sound worked there. Nothing. I also took my laptop out of the docking station to see if the sound worked on my laptop and if there was a docking station issue. Nothing. I'm not sure what happened...can anyone help?
Try installing the latest sound card drivers from Lenovo from here: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?brandind=10&template=%2Fproductselection%2Flandingpages%2FdownloadsDriversLandingPage.vm&validate=true or use Windows update to update them.
