I have dell xps m1530 laptop with vista home premium as my os?
My question is that if i format it and re installing vista using the OS cd(that packed with the laptop)did i lose the dell factory settings image file ?
If you choose to format and remake the partitions on the hard drive it will remove the Dell factory image. The Windows Vista disk the system came with does not contain the Dell factory image, software, or drivers the system shipped with.
