Acer aspire 5100 Backlight Problem?
I have an acer aspire 5100 and the backlight has suddenly decided to stop working. If i press Fn+F6, the screen lights up for about a second then turns back off so im assuming that everything is working (Lightbulb,Wires) but i think the laptop just turns it off. Ive opened up the laptop and disconnected the wires on both the left and right sides of the inverter and checked all the other wires to see if any are loose. When i recconect the two wires to the inverter, it lights up for about 3-4 seconds then again turns off. Does anyone have any idea whats going wrong??? Is there any way to fix this problem without buying a new inverter or screen???
i just did what u said. my acer did the same thing it turned on for a second then when back off try pressing it 3 or 4 times then holding it
it worked for me..
btw in the future you might what to invest in a new laptop, i am bc seriously acer cases soooo many problems.
