should I get a new windows 7 laptop or macbook?
I'm wondering if I should upgrade to a new windows 7 laptop, like an HP or Acer? Or Should I switch to Mac? And, get a Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard? I use it for college, and i am a website designer, and am majoring in journalism. I know windows 7 is supposed to be GREAT! almost FLAWLESS! but, it still has its minor tweaks, and doesn't have ilife like Apple does. But, I use Microsoft Office 2003 for journalism, and windows 7 should support it, as far As i know. I don't mind windows 7, but I need support for journalism, as well as designing for my website group. My budget is around $2000; is a good budget.
I suggest buying a mac, windows will always be windows, no matter how "great" microsoft says it is, I suggest the mac since they are more for web designing and its a unix based OS, which makes it pretty stable and as for the journalism you can use office 2008, which is for mac or you can get an open source office kit, its basically the same, except the open source its free.
