Help on purchase laptop connect card for college student?
I'm buying a laptop connect card. There are so many choices in the market that make me confuse. Which laptop connect card is better? Why? How much is cost you per month? I'm a college student, I need a reasonable monthly fees.
Laptops come with wifi and ethernet, so I assume you're talking about a cellphone-type adapter. Which one is best depends on where you're going to be going to college. The service is about the same from one company to another - it's the coverage that matters. (The best service is no good to you id you have to walk across the campus to find a spot to use it.)
Look at the coverage maps for all the companies that cover the area, and make sure that they have *solid* coverage where you want it - not that you'll be near an edge of their coverage. (Coverage doesn't drop off the way it looks on the map - it gets weaker and weaker until, at the edge of what they call "coverage" it drops to "unusable".) Check the plans and prices of the ones that cover where you want. Choose one that you like.
(Internet connections is in the 200kbps-300kbps range [for a strong signal] regardless of the company or the technology.)
