Would it be a good idea to buy iBook and later fix up or?
I really need a laptop because I write a lot and I can't exactly take my desktop around everywhere and toting around a notebook gets pretty annoying. I can't really afford the greatest of things right now. Is there any way that I could just buy an old iBook off ebay and maybe later fix it up if I could or what should I do? Where is a good place to buy a decent laptop for dirt cheap?
Notebook computers in general aren't exactly known for being upgradable, and an iBook would be no different. If your budget is pretty low, I'd look for something as recent as possible that's still within it, whether that be on eBay or whatever. If you're mostly just going to be using it for writing, though, I suppose an old iBook would do fine.
