New Dell Inspiron laptop-touch pad is driving me crazy! Does weird things, what can I do?!?
I got this new pretty purple Dell Inspiron, and I love it! Only... I can't type without wanting to rip my hair out! I don't know why or what I can do, but when ever I am typing, if my palm touches the edges of the touch pad, it does weird things. Things that are normally a Ctrl + "Key" kinda funtions, like Ctrl + T in Firefox, and Ctrl + G, S, L, K or calling my friends when using Yahoo Messenger, to name a few. It gets really annoying when I'm typing fast to someone and it repeatedly does it every five seconds. Is there anything I can do to stop this? Maybe hit a key to disable it temporarily when typing? Please help, thanks!
I doubt it's adware or anything, it's done it out of the box.

But what you describe sound normal as your hands/palms are touhing the mouse pad as you type.
It can be disabled.
Or if you have a spare USB keyboard use that. That is what I am using.
