ok i have windows media player on my laptop and a burner external and windows media player will not detect it?
can anyone tell me why or what i can do to fix this i have windows xp
If you have an external dvd recorder, it should just plug in to the usb port and your pc should detect it.
If not, you might have to reinstall it again.
Once you pc detects it then it shows up as a drive in your MyComputer.
If Windows Media Player wont detect it then use another media player. There's lots of them out there.
YOu can use winamp, apple quicktime, Core player, Ultra Player, well i could go on and on.
